Line dance, head bang or rock out — from July 6 to July 16, Shania Twain, Pitbull, Weezer and the Foo Fighters will perform at LeBreton Flats Park, just a 10-minute O-Train ride from campus! This historical festival is right in Ottawa’s backyard and will be something to remember.

Take advantage of places like the Byward Market and the Ottawa Farmer’s Market at Lansdowne for tasty treats and fresh produce. Food festivals take place all over the city all summer long and include diverse products at great prices!
Check out the many boat rentals on the Rideau Canal and Dow’s Lake. Paddle a canoe or kayak up and down the historic canal, or, if a tour is more your speed, take one of the many boat tours that will show you around Ottawa from the canal.
Along with the Byward Market and Lansdowne, there’s a wide range of pop-up and flea markets. Check out everything from used clothing to antique furniture and find that diamond in the rough.
Support the home team during the summer with cheap game tickets at Lansdowne. Come out for an afternoon and enjoy some Canadian football in an open-air stadium.
