Drop-in activities
Stay active this school year and meet some new people through one of our many drop-in sports activities. There are multiple programs tailored to your interests, and the best part is they’re all included in your membership! No registration is required and programs are available to uOttawa students, employees as well as external members.
Swimming
The Aquatic Centre contains a 50 metres by 18 metres Olympic size swimming pool.
Group fitness
Drop-in group fitness classes are a great way to have fun and stay in shape!
Squash
We are pleased to announce that our squash courts are now open!
Basketball
There are six (6) half basketball courts are available for play.
Badminton
Four courts available for players. This activity is first-come, first-served. We strongly encourage doubles play to maximize participation!
Pickleball
Never heard of Pickleball - Well, you are probably not alone. But know that you're missing out on one of the fastest growing sports in North America!
Soccer
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Whether you are alone or with a group of friends, head to the multi-sports field, located at 801 King Edward, or the Dome at Lees (depending on the season), and play some recreational soccer! What do you need to get started? All we ask you to provide is your student or membership card, running shoes, and suitable athletic wear.
Volleyball
Two (2) courts are available for play. Volleyballs are available at the Client Services desk.
Skating
Head over to the Minto Sports Complex, 801 King Edward Avenue, for a fun and informal skating session. Enjoy the ice at your own pace and make the most of your time on the rink!
Martial Arts
Whether you're a seasoned martial artist or just starting out, drop-in martial arts sessions are great way to practice.
Dance
The Dance Studio located at Montpetit Hall has barres, mirrors and chalk boards. It can be accessed through the basement, past Client Services.
Registered activities
These programs are offered at an extra fee for members or non-members.
