To access all the events related to the environment and sustainability in uoCal, a special filter has been added under themes. If an environmental event is available, click on the theme environment to view it.

Bike to Work Month is an opportunity for campus community members to bike to campus and show their support for sustainable transportation alternatives. This event is part of a greater initiative by the Ottawa EnviroCentre to promote cycling in the city.
In 2010, the University of Ottawa became a bottled water free campus. We don’t sell bottled water on campus and bottled water is not served at our events.
There are over 50 community garden plots available on campus. Learn more about how you can get a hold of one.
The Dump and Run is an activity designed to ensure that students moving out of residences don't send their stuff to landfill.
Help reduce our carbon footprint on campus by doing something for Earth Hour.
The Free Store is your one-stop shop that allows you to drop off stuff you don’t want anymore and pick-up things you do want for FREE.
Muggy Mornings promotes waste reduction and environmental sustainability! We offer FREE fair trade coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to anyone who brings a reusable mug!
RecycleMania is a friendly competition between colleges and universities to encourage and inform their campus communities on how to recycle, reduce waste, and rethink consumption habits.
