You can buy a meal plan or upgrade from a 5- to a 7-day any time during the academic year. You can only downgrade during the trial periods. And not to worry, Dining Dollars are transferred to Flex Dollars, minus the administration fee.

Your meal plan will be added onto your uOttawa Card August 25, 2025.
August 27, 2025 to April 30, 2026, inclusively.
Daily charges are applicable to a meal plan when it’s active on your uOttawa card, even during the trial period.
Visit the uOttawa Card Office to request a meal plan cancellation.
* If you have a meal plan with an 8-month residence agreement, your meal plan trial period ends on September 12, 2025.
