Chanelle Boudreau, Student-Lead, Personal Training and Group Fitness
Academics and certifications: BSc Human Kinetics, NASM-CPT, CanFitPro Group Fitness, CSEP-High Performance Specialization.
Background and experience: Over five years' experience in personal training, online coaching and virtual/in-person group training. I grew up as a competitive figure skater and sprinter but transitioned to competitive bodybuilding during the beginning of my university experience. This past year I’ve completed internships with Titans Performance and the Canadian Armed Forces. I also work as the Senior Performance Coach for the uOttawa Women’s Basketball Team. Iam currently training for my first marathon and 70.3 Ironman in the Spring of 2025.
Training specialty: Functional strength training, athletic performance, bodybuilding (hypertrophy and fat-loss), and physical preparation.
Favorite exercise: Romanian deadlifts.
Favorite treat/meal/dessert/smoothie: My mom’s brownies

Ada Coccimiglio
Academics and certifications: Fourth-year BSc in Biomedical Science, CanFitPro-PTS
Background and experience: I completed my personal trainer certification in August 2023 and have trained consistently in the gym for around three years. I love all styles of training, from strength and conditioning to endurance and plyometrics!
Training specialty: Mobility , stability , and functional strength
Favorite exercise: Deadlifts/RDLs
Favorite treat/meal/dessert/smoothie: Vanilla latte!

Véronic Doré
Academics and certifications: Fourth-year B.Sc. spécialisé en science de l'activité physique, ACE CPT
Background and experience: I have been working out and in a gym for over 10 years! At a very young age, I started playing competitive hockey and in the last year, I made the switch to powerlifting! From a professional point of view, I have been certified since 2020 and have worked as a fitness coach in other locations. I am also working as an adult group fitness coach and as a kinesiology student in a physiotherapy clinic.
Training specialty: Strength, powerlifting, general health, rehab
Favorite exercise: Deadlift!
Favorite meal/dessert: You can't go wrong with any sour candies.

Thomas Sénéchal-Becker
Academics and certifications: Fourth-year Health Sciences student, NASM CPT
Background and experience: I have been playing all types of sports since I was a child (basketball, volleyball, hockey, etc.). I later found my passion in track and field as a high jumper. I have spent countless hours over the past six years training and competing in my event, learning valuable lessons about movement, injuries, performance and training. In 2023, I received the University of Ottawa Athlete of the Year award for my gold medal at the USports National Championships. I am now training with the goal of making Team Canada for the 2028 Olympics.
Training specialty: Plyometrics (jumping, agility, power), athleticism and speed
Favorite exercise: Hang clean

Tyler Warren
Academics and certifications: Second-year Bachelor of Human Kinetics student, Canfitpro Certified
Background and experience: I have extensive sport-specific athletic training experience with the Gee-Gees high-performance team, specifically with the men’s volleyball team. I accumulated over three years of valuable experience at Movati Athletic honing functional training skills under the guidance of their performance coaches.
Training specialty: Weight loss, muscle growth, functional fitness for everyday life, sports-specific training

Benn Best
Academics and certifications: Second year kinesiology student, Certified Personal Trainer (ISSA) and Certified Nutritionist (ISSA)
Background and experience: I played hockey and lacrosse my whole life, have been working out for almost four years, have been programming for myself, friends and family for years and have been training and helping people achieve their fitness goals professionally for over a year now.
Training specialty: Weight training, and bodybuilding (weight loss and muscle growth)
Favorite exercise: Weighted dips

Kofi Danso
Academics and certifications: Fourth-year student in Communications; International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) certified personal trainer
Background and experience: I have been in the gym training for sports and fitness since I was a kid. I have focused on bodybuilding and strength training for the past four years and have developed a strong passion for it.

Will Stewart
Academics/certifications: Third-year student in Electrical Engineering, CanFit Pro certified
Background and experience: I started my fitness journey four years ago at 320lbs; I lost 120lbs before deciding to start weightlifting, now I am a certified personal trainer with over four years of experience working out.
Training Specialty: Hypertrophy (muscle growth), strength training, and weight loss

Nora Jordan
Academics and certifications: Second-year student in Multidisciplinary Design, CanFit Pro certified
Background and experience: I approach each session with the intention of creating connections, hitting your goals and having fun! With my experience in cheerleading and dance, I bring an exciting flair to all of my training sessions. As someone who’s has delt with lower back issues due to an injury in high school, I am aware of the work it takes for injury rehabilitation and pain reduction through foundational stability training.

Mackenzie Morgan
Academics and certifications: Third-year student in Human Kinetics - Applied Studies in Kinesiology and certified personal trainer
Background and experience: I have played soccer for over 10 years and enjoy being outdoors participating in activities such as alpine skiing, hiking, kayaking, biking, tennis, and running. I’m passionate about fitness, regularly going to the gym, and focusing on healthy eating through proper nutrition. I have experience in rehabilitation working in a physiotherapy clinic helping individuals of all ages ranging from children to seniors.

Silvi Ivardi
Academics and certifications: Third-year student in psychology, French Immersion; NCSF certified personal trainer
Background and experience: I started dancing when I was three years old, primarily ballet. My dance training is the basis for my understanding of proper form and injury prevention. I am also motivated by nutrition and its impact on the brain, leading to my aspiration to become a clinical nutritional psychologist.
