Mentor for French and math activities – School of the Greats

Community Partner: uOttawa Outreach Office, Student Affairs - Ottawa, ON

Looking for an opportunity to put your mentoring skills to work and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children? Become a mentor at the University of Ottawa's School of the Greats! As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to lead homework help sessions in French and math while dedicating less than 4 hours of your time every Saturday. Please note that this is a Winter 2025 placement which is done in the French language.

Community Partner: CECCE - Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre Est - Virtual

Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community and practice your French without leaving the comfort of your home? The Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre Est could is offering a volunteer placement for you! We're looking for French-speaking volunteers to provide remote support to students in the A3 Program. As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to help elementary and high school students with their schoolwork and French language learning. Please note that this placement is only available in French.

Passionate about hockey and looking to get your coaching career started? Ashbury College’s Hockey Skills Program might be the place for you! As a volunteer, you will get the chance to help students from grade 4 to 12 improve and develop their on-ice skills during once-a-week sessions on Wednesday mornings.

Animation and Security Volunteer

As part of Employee Recognition Month, CISSSO will invite its employees and their families to take part in the family activities scheduled for May 10, 2025! To ensure the smooth running of the event, they are looking for a number of responsible individuals who would like to get involved in supporting the various activities offered to the children. Please note that this event will take place in French and in Gatineau during the winter of 2025.

As a recreation volunteer you will have the chance to plan and deliver different recreational activities within a long-term care home that provides care for residents coping with various forms of physical and cognitive impairment in a homelike environment.
