EntourAGE Volunteer

Community Partner: uOttawa, Faculty of Health Sciences, REVIVRE! - Ottawa, ON

Participate in EntourAge’s person-centered volunteer program where one-on-one interactions and people living with dementia meet. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit and build a relationship with a person experiencing dementia and with whom you share common interests and preferred language in order to provide companionship and support.

Server, Prep or Foodbank volunteer

Community Partner: St Joe’s Supper Table - Ottawa, ON

Join St.Joe's Supper Table in their mission to reduce food insecurity and help the homeless! As a volunteer for St.Joe's Supper Table, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and welcoming community based in the heart of downtown Ottawa by choosing from a variety of different pre-set shifts during which you will help in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of community meals or contribute to food bank activities.

Volunteer for Film Festival (in French)

Community Partner: Festival du film de l'Outaouais - Gatineau, QC.

The FFO invites you to take part in a week of excitement, innovation and cultural exchange at the Outaouais Film Festival! As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of professional workshops, meetings with film industry professionals and film screenings by welcoming, directing and informing festival-goers, as well as helping to set up events and activities. Please note that this placement takes place in French between April 3rd and 11th, 2025 in Gatineau.

Join uOttawa's Office of Campus Sustainability in their efforts to reduce waste and consumption today! As a Free store Volunteer, you will get the chance to help out with the store's day-to-day tasks which include sorting donations, putting up posters around campus, and raising awareness for the cause through events and social media content.

Looking for a chance to contribute to the next generation while practicing your French from the comfort of your own home? Canadian Parents for French might just be the opportunity for you! We are seeking motivated bilingual volunteers who have experience working with children and youth for the Virtual French Tutoring Program designed to get children between the ages of 5-14 to practice and interact in their second language.
