Participate in EntourAge’s person-centered volunteer program where one-on-one interactions and people living with dementia meet. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit and build a relationship with a person experiencing dementia and with whom you share common interests and preferred language in order to provide companionship and support.

We invite you to perform for a small group of residents. This is a great opportunity to practice performing in front of an audience, connect with others through music, and make a positive impact. Environmental Community Science Participant

Community partner: Canadian Wildlife Federation - Remote.


Calling all nature enthusiasts! Get involved in the exciting 2025 City Nature Challenge (CNC) and help make a difference in preserving our natural world! From April 26th to May 4th, you can volunteer remotely by recording species observations in Ottawa and Gatineau or helping identify them through the iNaturalist app. You can also promote the event by hosting presentations or outreach activities to encourage others to participate.

Maple taffy

Vanier Museopark - Sugar Shack Volunteer

Volunteer at the Sugar Shack and dive into a true Canadian tradition! Help prepare and serve delicious meals (from February 15 to April 21, mostly on weekends), make maple taffy on snow, and assist with activities during our Sugar Festival (March 24–30, 2025). It’s a fantastic way to experience and share the warmth of Canadian culture while celebrating the sweet season of maple syrup.

French Tutor for diverse courses

Community partner: Outreach Office, University of Ottawa Student Affairs - Ottawa, ON.

If you're looking to gain valuable experience in education or make a meaningful impact on younger students, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Tutor francophone students from grades 7 to 12 in subjects like math, French, physics, chemistry, and biology. With a flexible commitment of just 4 to 10 hours per week from January 6th to April 30th, you can help students boost their grades and stay motivated—all through online tutoring.

French Translation and Tech Workshop Facilitation
