About the Instructor
Ariane Gauthier is a PhD candidate in experimental psychology and a part-time professor teaching quantitative methods at the undergraduate level at the University of Ottawa.
Her doctoral research focuses on the development of tools to improve detection of inattentive participants in online survey research. Due to the intensely quantitative nature of her research, Ariane has gained extensive experience in using R to create a vast range of analytical models.
Ariane’s teaching experience, and the fact that she is completely self-taught in R, means that she remains aware of the learning curve faced by those who are unfamiliar with R.
