Get your card in person

Your employee card is automatically renewed with each contract. Do not discard your card at the end of a contract as you will need it for future contracts. A replacement fee will apply if you require a new card.

Please note the following information and schedule:          

  • We reserve the right to modify the schedule below based on operational needs, we therefore strongly recommend that employees consult the table prior to making their way onto campus.          
  • Closing time is not based on the time you arrive; it’s based on the time we close; therefore, provide ample time to arrive if you want to get your card.  We recommend coming in the morning as it’s not as busy.

Pick up your uOttawa employee card

As of February 1st, 2025, to pick up your uOttawa employee card, you must go to the address below and show a valid piece of photo identification. Please note that if you ordered your card online, you must wait until you receive an e-mail informing you that your card has been printed and is ready for pickup.

Photo standards for in-person photos

Hats or sunglasses cannot be worn. You may wear tinted prescription glasses so long as your eyes are clearly visible.

Acceptable ID

To receive a uOttawa card, you must present a valid government issued ID from the list below.  

  • Passport
  • Nexus card
  • Driver’s licence
  • Certificate of Indian Status Card
  • Ontario health card
  • Canadian permanent resident card

Credit cards or other forms of ID are not acceptable.
