Biographie
Le Dr Wasserman a grandi à Toronto. Il a obtenu son baccalauréat et son doctorat en physiologie de l’Université de Toronto, puis son diplôme en médecine de l’Université d’Ottawa. Il a effectué sa résidence en pathologie anatomique à l’Université d’Ottawa, où il a agi comme résident en chef du programme. Après sa résidence, il a fait un fellowship en pathologie de la tête et du cou à l’Université de Toronto, sous le mentorat du Dr Ilan Weinreb. Le Dr Wasserman est aujourd’hui pathologiste de la tête et du cou à L’Hôpital d’Ottawa et professeur adjoint à l’Université d’Ottawa, où il enseigne aux résidentes et résidents ainsi qu’aux étudiantes et étudiants en médecine. En 2018, il a fondé le site MyPathologyReport.ca, le premier outil virtuel d’éducation de la patientèle sur la pathologie.
