Dr Ronald A. Booth

Biographie

Le Dr Booth est un spécialiste agréé en chimie clinique et un fellow de l’Académie canadienne de biochimie clinique.  Il est actuellement professeur agrégé au Département de pathologie et de médecine de laboratoire de l’Université d’Ottawa et biochimiste clinique à L’Hôpital d’Ottawa et à l’Association des laboratoires régionaux de l’Est de l’Ontario (ALREO), où il dirige la section d’immunologie et biomarqueurs neurologiques du laboratoire régional de l’organisme. Il est aussi directeur de laboratoire médical et conseiller en biochimie clinique dans plusieurs hôpitaux communautaires de l’est de l’Ontario.

Ses intérêts de recherche clinique portent notamment sur l’immunologie diagnostique et l’auto-immunité, les biomarqueurs neurologiques et l’utilisation fondée sur les données probantes de biomarqueurs cliniques de laboratoire.
