Biographie

La Dre Erika MacDonald est originaire de Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Elle a obtenu un B. Sc. Pharm de l'Université Dalhousie en 2006 et a effectué une résidence en pharmacie hospitalière à l'Hôpital d'Ottawa en 2007. Elle travaille depuis à l'Hôpital d'Ottawa en tant que pharmacienne en médecine générale ainsi qu'en soins intensifs plus récemment, en tant que coordonnatrice de la pratique professionnelle de 2012 à 2020, puis en tant que gestionnaire de la pharmacie clinique et coordonnatrice du programme de résidence depuis 2020. Elle a obtenu une maîtrise en épidémiologie à l'Université d'Ottawa en 2015, et un doctorat en pharmacie à l'Université de Toronto en 2019. La Dre Macdonald est affiliée à l'Institut de recherche de l'Hôpital d'Ottawa en tant que chercheuse clinicienne.
