Distance courses (audio-conference)
Combined classes in which the professor and a few students are in the classroom and where students from various regions are present in audio or video mode during class hours.
Currently, this format is not available in English, audio-conference courses are offered in French only, but you are welcome to take courses in French if you wish.
Online courses (WB)*
Courses where the professor is not physically present in the classroom, but the course content is usually available on the virtual campus (desire2learn). Visit TLSS for more information on the virtual campus.
On the other hand, the professor can recommend the virtual presence of the students during periods of discussion. Please consult the professor for specific instructions.
The time commitment required for this course and its content is the same as for a traditional course. You carry out your course work, including online discussions, papers and other activities. You also follow the same important academic dates and deadlines.
In addition to information on our website, the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) website provides additional information to meet the unique needs of distance learning students.
Hybrid/blended courses (HYB)
These courses are a mix of face-to-face activities on campus, with an online component. You will be meeting in class for a few weeks and also have an online component during other weeks. Please consult the professor for specific instructions.
