Carole Sénéchal completed her doctoral studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal in psychology (research/intervention) and at the Université de Montréal in psychopedagogy. Her first doctorate focused on autism, and her second on burnout and organizational behavior. Since completing her studies, her research has focused on autism, mental health and psychopathology in children and adolescents, and the psychological health problems of teachers and school administrators. She is also a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has been in charge of book reviews for the Revue de psychoéducation since 2005, and is a member of the scientific committee of the Revue Enfance en difficulté.
