Carolina Ruminot conducts research in mathematics education. She earned her Ph.D. in Didactics of Mathematics at the André Revuz laboratory at Université Paris, Diderot. She has 10 years of teaching experience with young students and adults in Canada, France and Chile. Her focus of research includes improving students’ learning in mathematics by re-conceptualizing the teaching and learning practices through the problematization of the production of knowledge and questioning the role of teacher and student, and the integration of assessment practices in the classroom.
