Indigenous women

Overview

We invite you to a special gathering with Residential School Survivors, where we will share food, watch the poignant film “My Indian Name,” and engage in meaningful conversation.

Tony Quedent, a member of the Lac Seul First Nation in the Treaty 3 area, stars in this film, which explores the impact of traditional names being changed to English or French names. This event is an opportunity to honor the stories and resilience of Indigenous communities.

Come and be part of this important dialogue.
