Jessica Sokolowski is an LTA professor and cohort lead for the Imagination, Creativity and Innovation Cohort in the Faculty of Education. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Ottawa, with a research focus on arts-based and experiential learning methods. Passionate about access to the arts, Jessica offers programming in the arts through her studio, CreatEd, and is a steering committee member with the Canadian Network for Imagination and Creativity. She is committed to educating teachers on arts-based and experiential approaches to teaching and learning, inclusive education and social-emotional learning. Her research focus surrounds literacy, multimodalities, performing arts, creativity and arts-based teaching methods
