Professor Bartosova holds a doctoral degree in andragogy and language education from the Université de Montréal. Her passion for languages, education, and assessment is evident not only in her professional achievements but also in her personal linguistic abilities—she speaks six languages, including English, French, Spanish, Czech, German, and Polish. She has been deeply involved in a variety of collaborations, including the government-funded language immersion program, Explore, where she served as a student, teacher, and director. She has also managed federally (IRCC) and provincially (MOE) funded projects at the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks, and collaborated on diverse initiatives at the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO).
Professor Bartosova's research centres on language education, language assessment and the integration of artificial intelligence in educational practices. Her work aims to bridge traditional and emerging methodologies, enhancing both teaching and evaluation processes in language learning.
