Mariette Théberge, Phd is a full professor in the Faculty of Education, where she teaches arts education as well as epistemology and research methodology. She holds a master's degree and a doctorate in education, and studied playwriting with Alain Knapp in Paris. Her main research interests include arts education, cultural identity and the creative process. She has conducted research projects with adolescents enrolled in specialized art programs in the context of French language schools in Ontario. She is also interested in the creative process in productions by professional theatre companies in Canadian francophone communities, teacher training, and artistic learning by adults.
