Professor Eric Dionne from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Education and co-editor Sébastien Béland from the University of Montréal, have been awarded the Louise Dandurand Prize in the society and culture sector for their book on the challenges of Rasch modelling and potential solutions, entitled 'Appliquer le modèle de Rasch: défis et pistes de solution.'
Timothy Stanley wins the CHEA 2024 Distinguished Contributions Award
The Canadian History of Education Association (CHEA/ACHÉ) honored Timothy Stanley for his exceptional contributions to the history of education during its biennial meeting on October 19, 2024. Winner of the Outstanding Contributions Award, established in 2010, he joins a prestigious group of recipients, including Allison Prentice, J. Donald Wilson, and Sharon Cook, who have shaped the history of education in Canada.
