The Faculty of Education is pleased to announce generous scholarships for students enrolling in formation à l’enseignement

Thanks to a generous contribution from the Association des étudiantes et étudiants à la formation à l’enseignement (AEEFE), which is the association representing students enrolled in the Francophone teacher educations program, the Faculty has received $50,000 to reward uOttawa students who demonstrate academic excellence in the Formation à l’enseignement program.

The mandate of the AEEFE

The AEEFE is mandated to provide non-commercial services to all students or to its members in keeping with the general interests of its members. The AEEFE is managed by an executive board comprising eight positions, each of which is held by a different member: president; vice-president internal and external affairs; vice-president educational affairs; vice-president social and career; vice-president communications (two positions); vice-president finance; and vice-president Ottawa.

Recognizing the importance of teacher training

“The AEEFE decided to offer these scholarships because we understand the importance of training teachers and we are committed to encouraging students interested in this field. These scholarships will recognize the dedication and efforts of students enrolled in the Faculty of Education. We believe that they have worked hard to obtain exceptional academic results and we feel that their dedication should be rewarded. We are proud to support students who have chosen a career in teaching. We know that this profession is among the most important and rewarding. We hope that these scholarships will help them achieve their goals and realize their full potential as future teachers.” Martine Simplice, AEEFE president
