Run by students and recent alumni, we support you throughout your academic and entrepreneurial journey. Our approach focuses on creative problem solving to address complex issues.
Our student-led approach means that initiatives remain relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of aspiring engineers and entrepreneurs.

Develop your skills
An engineering design mindset allows you to solve problems and have a meaningful impact on both local and global scales. Whether you're looking to enhance your skills or launch your own venture, the Faculty of Engineering is here to help you transform your ideas into reality.

Courses
Add engineering design or entrepreneurship courses to your program to give you an edge in the job market. Work with a client as early as first year.

Workshops
Get training on manufacturing equipment (lathes, milling machines, hand tools, etc.) and digital technologies (3D printing, microcontrollers, app development, etc.). We have options for the uOttawa community as well as businesses or organizations.
Our facilities

Located on the first floor of the STEM Complex, our rapid prototyping and manufacturing spaces provide students with up-to-date equipment and opportunities to design, build and test prototypes.
