We believe in community impact and in supporting our students. We offer different avenues for sponsorship through our engineering design and entrepreneurship courses, programs and events.
We rely on our partners to help provide opportunities for students and to support our design and entrepreneurship initiatives. There are multiple ways to engage with the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Design (CEED) as an individual or as an organization, from services to mentorship to sponsorship.
Benefit from our services
Training and workshops for groups
CEED offers customized training and workshops for organizations and educational institutions to help their members develop practical skills. Topics can include entrepreneurship, engineering design, digital technologies, manufacturing technologies and professional development.
Rental spaces
We offer our partners the opportunity to use our spaces and our equipment for a fee. Most of our spaces are located on the first floor of the STEM Complex at the University of Ottawa. Contact the facility manager for more details.
Work with our students
Propose a project for one of our client-based design courses and you’ll obtain solutions to key design issues. Projects run three times a year for a period of three months: January to March, May to July, and September to November. We are always seeking new, meaningful opportunities for our students.
Programs like the MakerLaunch startup accelerator are looking for experts to coach future innovators.
Giving a guest lecture allows you to share your expertise with a wider audience and foster meaningful discussions.
We are looking for savvy judges to judge our Design Day showcase and our Engineering Pitch Competition.
