Take Our Kids to Work Day is an experiential learning opportunity for high school students to explore various careers firsthand! Our Engineering Outreach programs invite grade 9 students on campus to learn about the different career options in engineering through workshops, tour and more!

Event details

uOttawa employees can register their children in grade 9 to this event. Priority will be given to the parents working for the Faculty of Engineering. Limited space available.

Schedule 

  • 9:00 a.m. Arrival
  • 9:15 a.m. Presentation on engineering
  • 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Workshops
  • 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Lunch (Students must bring their lunch)
  • 12:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. STEM Complex and Lab visit
