On January 28th, the University of Ottawa's Professional Development Institute (IDP) launched a new cloud computing program. With more than 25 years of operation, the Professional Development Institute offers professionals in many fields the opportunity to continue their education while thriving in their professional lives.

This new course offering, the result of a partnership between the Professional Development Institute, the Faculty of Engineering and Canada's Center of Excellence in Next Generation Networks (CENGN), is no exception. Once again, the Institute wants to offer professionals the opportunity to broaden their fields of experience without having to compromise their careers. The opportunity to partner with CENGN has allowed the Institute to combine its technical expertise in professional development with the one of CENGN in order to offer courses that reflect current industry standards as well as future trends.

Now opening registration for its first cohort, the Institute begins by offering 6 courses to propel professionals to new levels, both in terms of education and career. These courses will allow professionals to learn more about topics such as DevOps, development with Python, cloud systems and more. Visit the program's webpage to learn more and register.
