Online programs student support

We’re here to help you during your part-time online studies with us.

How we can help

At the Faculty of Engineering, we understand you’ll be balancing professional and personal responsibilities while you study. We’re fully committed to your success and will give you focused guidance throughout your program, even at a distance.

From the moment you enrol to graduation day, you’ll have one-on-one support from a student success adviser, who’ll connect with you at every stage of the program to answer your questions, provide resources and troubleshoot concerns. Your adviser is your point of contact at the University. They will be available year round by phone, text/SMS and email.

Working with your student success adviser

  • Charting your course: Get program orientation, online tools and resources to ensure a smooth start.
  • Dream it, achieve it: Discuss your academic aspirations, career goals and concerns. Together, we’ll craft a personalized academic plan to help you reach your full potential.
  • Your voice matters: Your adviser acts as a bridge between you and program leadership, ensuring your feedback and ideas are heard.
  • Life happens: We understand that unexpected events happen. Your adviser will work with you and program leadership to navigate any challenges affecting your studies.
  • Empowering you: Connect to a network of University resources designed to support your academic and personal well-being.
  • Staying on track: Your adviser will be in regular contact to discuss your progress, answer questions and offer guidance.
  • Informed decisions: Stay up-to-date on program requirements and University policies, ensuring you’re always on the right track.
