Bee-bot
Bee-Bot is a colourful, easy-to-operate, friendly little robot. It’s a fun tool used to teach sequencing, estimation and problem-solving.
micro:bit example
Micro:bits uses a small programmable microcontroller to teach programming and create interactive projects.
scratch logo
Scratch is the world’s largest coding community for children. It’s coding language relies on a simple visual interface that allows youth to create digital stories, games and animations.
K8
The k8 Robot, which powered by micro:bit, comes as a modular robotics kit and is designed to introduce kids to coding and physical computing. K8 is equipped with motors and sensors that enable it drive and navigate around obstacles. It uses servo motors to pick up and move objects
RVR
This programmable robot gives students the opportunity to learn robotics and programming through creative challenges.
Sphero Bolt
This spherical programmable robot is equipped with a visual interface that can be used to teach robotics, math and science.
Sphero Mini
A compact robot about the size of a ping-pong ball, the Sphero Mini features intuitive coding and a range of functions, enabling kids to explore the world of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math).
Matatlab
This educational robotics platform allows students to explore the fundamentals of robotics and programming through interactive challenges, while also receiving instant feedback.

Registration details

Registration process for schools 

  1. Select two potential workshop dates. Registrations for workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  2. Once registration is complete, you will receive an email from Engineering Outreach within one-to-three business days of our receipt of your application. Occasionally, it may take up to five business days for us to contact you. If you do not hear back within a week, please send us an email.  
  3. Once your registration has been processed, we will send you an email with a tentative schedule. You must review it thoroughly then reply by email to either confirm your registration or make changes.
