Biography

Aneta George Traikova received her PhD from the University of Ottawa, and her MSc and BSc in electrical and computer engineering from the Technical University of Sofia. Her broad research interests include electromagnetics, systems and signals, microcontrollers, microwaves and radiation, and mathematical modelling. Dr. Traikova’s current research is in development of computational engineering models and their application in engineering practice and decision-making.  

Dr. Traikova is the author of several journal publications and conference proceedings addressing engineering education methodologies, performance measurement and software solutions to meet sustainable development goals. She has developed information analytical systems implemented by several institutions in Canada and worldwide.

Dr. Traikova is a member of IEEE Aerospace and Systems Council and several engineering associations in Europe, the Middle East and North America.
