Biography

Ben Eze holds a master’s and PhD in digital transformation and innovation (formerly electronic business) from the University of Ottawa, where he is now a part-time professor and an adjunct professor with the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation (SEDTI) in the Faculty of Engineering.  

Professionally, Ben serves as the lead architect at Next Pathway Inc., a cloud data migration company, and is also a business intelligence partner with Champlain Ontario Health at Home. Additionally, he manages and teaches in several upskilling programs, including the University of Ottawa’s Professional Development Institute, FxInnovation and the Centre for Next Generation Networks (CENGN) CloudCampus DevOps and DevSecOps programs.  

With extensive experience as a solutions architect, software engineer and data analytics professional, Ben has collaborated with numerous tech and health-care organizations, including the Health Standards Organization, Accreditation Canada, Montfort Hospital, Cisco and Desire2Learn. He served as director of software development at Privacy Analytics for five years.  

Ben is also an accomplished author with numerous peer-reviewed publications, and holds two patents in Canada and the United States.
