Human Kinetics Graduate Students’ Association (HKGSA)
The HKGSA represents the interests of Master’s and PhD students across all human kinetics disciplines. HKGSA brings together graduate students and professors through academic, social, and sporting activities. It assists HK graduate students with both academic and non-academic matters and liaises with external agencies.
Graduate Nurses’ Association (GNA)
The GNA represents graduate nursing students in the Master’s, Doctoral, and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner programs within the SON at the University of Ottawa. The GNA is a department association of the University of Ottawa GSAED. The purpose of the GNAIID is to pursue a supportive environment for excellence in education and to promote participation of graduate nursing students regarding decisions and activities at the University of Ottawa. As a community, the GNA supports diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all members.

Canadian Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA)
CNSA is the national voice of Canadian nursing students. It focuses on the legal, ethical, professional and educational aspects of nursing. CNSA is dedicated to the promotion of nurses and the nursing profession as a whole.
Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Students’ Association
The association’s mission is to promote unity among students, mediate between students and faculty, represent students at the GSÉAD, protect student rights and promote the socio-cultural, educational, professional and academic life of students.
Masters Students in Physiotherapy Association
The association represent students in the physiotherapy program. It acts as an intermediary between students, advocates and the physiotherapy program management and the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, to promote and protect students’ rights. The association also furthers socio cultural, sporting, educational, professional and academic life for physiotherapy students.
Occupational Therapy Students Association (French only)
The association’s mission is to serve and give voice to the students in the Master’s of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy program as they pursue their academic and professional careers.
Population Health Graduate Students’ Association (PHGSA)
The PHGSA is a non-profit student association which functions as a sub-group of the University of Ottawa Graduate Student’s Association des étudiant.es diplômé.es (GSAÉD). The PHGSA was created to support and represent its student members at the GSAED council. Responsibilities of the PHGSA include, but are not limited to, advocating for the interests of its members, organizing orientation sessions and social events, offering mentorship opportunities, and facilitating academic and professional development.
