A dedicated clinician, researcher and mentor Dr. Fitzpatrick’s tremendous work has profoundly changed the clinical practice of audiology.

In recognition of her outstanding career of over 25 years in audiology and auditory habilitation marked by clinical practice, research, education and service as well as her strong commitment to providing exceptional care to children/ youth with hearing losses and their families, Dr. Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, a Full Professor at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences as well as a Senior Scientist at the CHEO Research Institute was awarded the Honours of the Academy Award of the Canadian Academy of Audiology. A dedicated clinician, researcher and mentor Dr. Fitzpatrick’s tremendous work has profoundly changed the clinical practice of audiology.
