Dr. Lara Pilutti, an Associate Professor in the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences, is trying to break down obstacles for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), by adapting exercise interventions and lifestyle changes to meet the needs of this population.

This award will provide funding to support a research team in pursuing investigations on the safety, efficacy, delivery and implementation potential of FES cycling exercise for people living with severe MS. This prestigious award recognizes promising, newly established Ontario researchers.

Lara and her team are involved in many MS-related community fundraising activities and knowledge translation events. Visit their website, Clinical Exercise Physiology Lab, to learn more.

Congratulations Lara !
