Paula Forgeron

Paula Forgeron is a full professor at the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, and University of Ottawa. Prior to joining the faculty, she had diverse clinical career with direct care experience in pediatric and adult emergency care, neonatal intensive care, as well as a position as the clinical nurse specialist on a pediatric complex pain team. Her funded research focuses on the social functioning of adolescents with chronic conditions as well as best practices in preparing health professionals to engage in inter-professional practice. In collaboration with colleagues, she has conducted knowledge translation research to improve pain care for hospitalized children and youth in low and middle-income countries as well as Western countries.
