The Honours Bachelor of Science in Food Sciences program aims to educate future food and nutrition scientists and focuses on the acquisition of knowledge in chemistry, microbiology and physical properties of food. The program prepares graduates for careers in the agri-food sector such as agri-food industries, food businesses, food science research centres and government departments.
As the only food science training program offered in a faculty of health sciences in Canada, this program places greater emphasis on the impact of food on health.
