The AJEFO will Award the Order of Merit to Part-time Professor Caroline Thibault, LLB ‘97
The Association of French Speaking Jurists of Ontario (L’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario) will bestow the Order of Merit on Common Law Part-Time Professor Caroline Thibault. during its 41st annual conference, to be held virtually from June 22 to June 24, 2021.

Caroline Thibault, LLB ’97, has been prosecuting criminal matters as an Assistant Crown Attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General since her call to the Ontario Bar in 1999. Caroline is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Common Law French Program and practices in both official languages. Her professional experience includes the prosecution of serious criminal offences, including the prosecution of murder, attempted murder, sexual assault, aggravated assault and firearm offences. Caroline is currently teaching the "Crown Attorney's Internship" course to third year law students as a part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa. Caroline has also been an instructor at the French Language Institute Program, where she provided training on French legal terminology to Crown Attorneys, and has been training lawyers in trial advocacy for The Advocate's Society.
