Andrea Korajlija, a student in the Juris Doctor (J.D.) program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, University of Ottawa, won first prize in the Undergraduate category for her essay entitled "An Unfair Game of Virtual Hide-and-Go-Seek: The Passive Collection of Children's Information Online". Her work will be published in the scientific journal Canadian Journal of Children's Rights/Revue canadienne des droits des enfantsnorth_eastexternal link in the fall of 2020. Andrea entered her third year of study in the Common Law Section in the fall term of 2020.
Fabien Vadnais, who was enrolled in the Master of Laws in Health Law, Policy and Ethics (LL.M.) Program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa at the time of submitting his work, won the prize in the "Graduate Studies" category for his major research paper entitled "L'encadrement juridique et médical des soins de fin de vie dans le contexte pédiatrique : Analyse d'une discrimination envers les plus vulnérables et pistes de réflexion". He receives $250.
