Global Technology Law and Policy is an intensive two-week seminar that examines the development of global technology law policy including privacy, intellectual property, and artificial intelligence regulation. The course is a joint initiative of the University of Ottawa, the University of Haifa, and Bocconi University in Milan with up to ten students from each university participating.
The course is scheduled to run from April 28 to May 11, 2025. This year’s class will run solely in Canada. Classes in the first week will be in Ottawa. The second week will include a day trip to Montreal and conclude for two days in Toronto. All University of Ottawa students will receive a bursary of $250 to support related travel costs.
The course credit can be applied for the 2025-26 academic year in either the fall (CML 3351 FS) or winter (CML 3351 WS) semesters. No additional fees are required.
