Neil Schwartz leads the Corporate Group at Mann Lawyers LLP, a regional law firm based in Ottawa, Ontario. Neil provides advice in all areas of corporate and commercial law, and supports entrepreneurs, professionals, and organizations in their pursuit of good governance, commercial success, and legal compliance. He has particular expertise in organizational planning, professional corporations, business acquisitions, commercial leasing, capital raising and financings, and other business issues.
Prior to joining Mann Lawyers, Neil worked as a corporate lawyer with a multinational firm and as in-house counsel at one of Canada’s largest crown corporations. Most recently, he helped build a Canadian startup into a leading national player in the immersive entertainment space.
Neil received his JD from the Common Law Faculty at the University of Ottawa in 2010 and has been a part-time professor since 2021
