In addition to offering common law JD degrees via the French, English and National Programs, the Common Law Section also offers a variety of combined programs, allowing students to earn multiple degrees in a reduced timeframe.

Programme de droit canadien
Beginning in September 2008, the Faculty launched a new program, the Programme de droit canadien (PDC), and allowing students to earn both a JD and an LL.L. in three years, thus opening the doors to the practice of law across Canada and abroad.
JD-MA (International Affairs)
The Common Law Section, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University offer a combined four-year program.
JD-MBA
A combined program to students who already have work experience or who achieve exceptional results while in law school.
Canadian-American Dual JD Program
A unique four-year dual credential program that allows participants to obtain both the Canadian and the American law degrees.
JD-BSocSc (Specialization in Political Science)
Provides lawyers and political scientists with a chance to analyze and understand issues from these two backgrounds.
JD-BCom (Commercial Sciences)
Allows lawyers and those interested in Management to understand the issues and analyses from these two complementary disciplinary fields.
