The program is divided into three main components: the foundations and methods of comparative law, an exploration of legal systems beyond civil and common law—such as Islamic law and customary laws in Africa and Asia—and an analysis of common and civil law traditions, using Quebec and Canada as illustrative examples. These sessions aim to sharpen analytical skills while fostering an appreciation of the shared human experiences that underpin these diverse systems.

Your learning extends beyond the classroom with curated cultural activities in the heart of a G7 capital. Explore Canada’s Parliament, visit the Supreme Court, and learn about Indigenous cultures. Enjoy scenic outings like canoeing and hiking in the Canadian wilderness, all while building lasting connections with peers from around the world.

Combining academic excellence with cultural immersion, this program offers a unique opportunity to expand your understanding of global legal systems and prepare for a future in international law.

Join our two-week intensive course from July 7 to July 18, 2025.
