When enrolling in a program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, it is the responsibility of each student to:

Enrolment process

Exchange students are NOT able to initially enrol online. You must enroll by sending an email to [email protected] with your course selection (for the Fall and/or Winter term) and alternatives by Monday, June 17, 2024. In your email, you must rank your courses in terms of preference (starting at 1 for most preferred), including two alternative courses. If there is no space in your preferred courses, we will proceed with enrollment in your alternative selections. Please ensure that both preferred and alternative course selections do not result in any class or examination schedule conflicts. If there is no space in your alternative selections, we will contact you to discuss your options.

  • Incoming exchange students must also consult the course search engine for available courses offered for the upcoming academic year, however you must take the List of restricted courses (PDF, 154.76 KB) in consideration when making your selection.
  • You are not permitted to enrol to any first-year courses.
  • Ensure that they have completed any prerequisites for courses selected.
  • Ensure that the courses selected do not result in class schedule or exam timetable conflicts.
  • Please note that you must enrol to a minimum of 12 units per term and a maximum of 15 units per term.
  • Submit a course selection by email at [email protected] to the Common Law Student Centre.
  • The Common Law Student Centre will not confirm receipt of your form or enrollment. Please check uoZone to confirm your enrolment and view your course timetable.
  • To modify your course selection, please contact the Student Centre. Keep in mind that enrolment requests for restricted courses will not be evaluated until September and will depend on the number of seats available.
