Daphnée B. Ménard is a doctoral student in law at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of Associate Professor Sarah Berger Richardson. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2016, she holds a master's degree in law (concentration Law and Society) from UQAM, obtained with honors.
Her research interests focus primarily on animal and agri-food law, with a particular emphasis on regulations governing the treatment of farm animals. She was a lecturer in animal law at Université de Sherbrooke in winter 2023 and at McGill University in winter 2024.
