Call for Submissions
The Ottawa Law Review is now accepting English- and French-language submissions for publication in its next issue. The submission deadline is May 12, 2023.

The Ottawa Law Review(OLR) is now accepting submissions for publication in Volume 55, Issue 1.

The OLR  is a bilingual and peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually by the students of the Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, with the guidance of Faculty Advisors, Professor Yan Campagnolo and Professor Kyle Kirkup.

Since its foundation in 1966, the OLR has contributed to legal research and scholarship on current and relevant legal issues through the publication of articles, case comments, and book reviews by jurists, practitioners, and academics. The OLR’s distinct reputation has resulted in its articles being widely cited, including by the Supreme Court of Canada.

As a generalist publication, the OLR seeks scholarly articles and other texts that contribute to a diversity of opinions in any area of law, including articles and texts with an international, theoretical, or comparative focus. The OLR is fully open-access and authors are also free to publish their article on a personal website or on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN).

Authors are invited to consult the OLR’s submission guidelines and submit an electronic copy of their work through the OLR’s website.

The submission deadline for Volume 55, Issue 1 is May 12, 2023
