On November 2nd, the Université de l’Ontario en français (UOF) announced its first ever Chancellor, Paul Rouleau, LLB ‘77.

Excerpt from the Université de l’Ontario en français’ announcement:

"A lawyer by profession and later a judge, Rouleau shares UOF's values of community engagement, courage, autonomy and pluralism. Mr. Rouleau is recognized for the major role he has played over the years, in all forums, to promote education and especially the French language. A long-time advocate for the rights of Franco-Ontarians and Francophones in minority communities in Canada, he has become an inspiration to younger generations, an example to follow in promoting the expansion of the Francophone space as a place of collective development."

We offer our congratulations to Paul Rouleau on his new position.
