POSTER PRINTING POLICIES (Please read carefully)

Please submit your request for poster printing by completing the following Google FormYou will receive a confirmation email once your request is submitted.  If you do not receive a confirmation, please email [email protected] as soon as possible to confirm we have received your request.  Once your poster has been printed, you will receive an email notification with pick up instructions.

Rules and Regulations

  • Must be a student in either the BMI or TMM or have a supervisor who is a member of the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology.
     
  • Poster printing requests must be submitted at least three (3) full business days before the required pick-up date.  Printing requests received with less than 3 full business days will not be guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
     
  • For poster days/conferences, requests must be submitted at least five (5) full business daysbefore the required pick-up date.  Printing requests received with less than 5 full business days will not be guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
     
  • It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the poster has been approved by the supervisor in a timely manner.
     
  • Poster backgrounds must be white.
     
  • Poster cannot exceed 10 megabytes in size;  If your poster size is larger, please contact [email protected].
     
  • Please check your poster carefully for formatting or mistakes before submitting your poster for printing. There will be no reprints.  Exceptions will ONLY be made if it is a printer issue.
     
  • Poster size is limited by the size of the printer. One side of the poster must not exceed 36” (91.44 cm).
     
  • Documents must be a PowerPoint or PDF file only. PDF is preferable as it is a more stable format for printing. Please let us know the exact size of the poster.
     
  • For statistical purposes, students are required to specify their academic rank and program: Undergraduate, MSc, PhD, PDF, other.
     
  • Students must provide a uOttawa email address to be contacted once the poster is ready for pickup.
