Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Program Deadlines

Please see below the deadlines for all PGME training programs

Ensure that you read carefully and submit all of your documents in a timely manner. In the event that you are not able to meet a requirement by the deadline, please contact your FoM CPRM Advisor immediately to make necessary arrangements.

It is important that you keep copies of all your documents. The FoM CPRM team is not responsible for providing proof of immunization to other medical education programs or hospital credential committees.

  1. Complete Clinical Placement Requirements Record form:
    • All vaccinations, serology, and 2-step TST.
    • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
       
  2. Police Vulnerable Sector Screening
    • Electronically secured document or original hard copy embossed with police service seal or original signature of a police official.
    • Cannot be dated more than 6 months prior to your scheduled start date.

  1. Vulnerable Sector Screening Self-Declaration 
    • PLEASE NOTE: You must apply for a new Police Vulnerable Sector Screening if your previous screening is older than five years.
       
  2. Tuberculosis Signs and Symptoms Self-Declaration form (if previously tested positive)
December 1, 2024Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (2024-2025)
Annually (valid x 12 months)

One-Step Tuberculin Skin Test (TST)

  • Annual renewal, depending on when last TST was performed.
Every 2 years (valid x 24 months)

N95 Mask Fitting 

  • Must always remain valid.
  • Mandatory every 2 years, depending on when last mask fitting was performed.

  1. Complete Clinical Placement Requirements Record form:
    • All vaccinations, serology, and 2-step TST.
    • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
       
  2. Police Vulnerable Sector Screening
    • Electronically secured document or original hard copy embossed with police service seal or original signature of a police official.
    • Must be issued within the last 12 months to cover the duration of your elective.  
       
  3. N95 Mask Fit Testing
     
  4. For electives between December 1 and April 30: Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (2024-2025)
