The Oncology Fellowship Program is unique in that Fellows have their own longitudinal “Fellows Clinic” where the fellow runs their own practice and learns many of the skills required for subsequent independent practice as a specialist physician.
Great opportunity to do a meaningful Clinical Research training in medical oncology and become a clinical expert at developing, enrolling and implementing clinical and research projects. Have the opportunity to teach residents and medical students in their chosen disease site in medical oncology.
Research Fellowship is for those wanting to obtain a higher level of clinical exposure in general oncology or specific disease site, clinical duties are typically 30% of your workload (2 day clinics per week) and it also involves teaching, academic and research activities of their primary discipline as assigned by their primary supervisor.
