What we offer you
The Division of Rheumatology offers a two-year clinical fellowship in Advanced Rheumatology, Senior Clinician and Physician Support, for rheumatologists certified by the Royal College, the American Board, or International Medical Graduates who obtain equivalency from the Royal College of Canada. A University of Ottawa Certificate of Completion is provided upon successful completion of the fellowship training.
This fellowship incorporates clinical support to primary rheumatologists and associated multidisciplinary teams by interpreting and documenting anatomical, physiological and laboratory findings. In addition, s/he will work in specialized discharge, remission and biologic screening clinics.
Active engagement in scholarly activities is encouraged by assisting in the critical assessment of professional journal articles and supporting faculty research projects.
