Biography
Dr. Adam Garber is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Ottawa. He received his medical degree in 2010 from Western University and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2015 from the University of Ottawa. He completed a Senior Fellowship in Simulation Based Medical Education through the Department of Innovation in Medical Education in 2016, University of Ottawa Skills and Simulation Centre (uOSSC) and a master’s degree in health professions education through McMaster in 2017.
His practice includes both Obstetrics and Gynecology and he is part of the call group at the Civic Campus of The Ottawa Hospital. He provides wholistic obstetrical care and minimal invasive gynecologic surgical care. His roles for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology include Associate Program Director, Simulation Fellowship Program Director, and Competence Committee Chair. He is a member of the uOSSC simulation fellowship faculty. His academic interests lie in innovative simulation techniques, team training, and patient experience.
