Biography

Dr. Claire Kendall is a Full Professor with the Department of Family Medicine and cross-appointed to the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa; Senior Investigator at the Bruyère Research Institute and Clinicienne-chercheure, Institut du Savoir Montfort; and a practicing family physician with the Bruyère Family Health Team. She holds a Clinical Research Chair in Strengthening Primary Care for Integrated Health Equity (Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, 2020-2025). She is a Principal Investigator at ICES, a Principal Researcher at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Research on Community Services, an Affiliate Investigator in the Clinical Epidemiology Program at The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and Affiliate Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital.  Dr. Kendall is also Associate Dean, Social Accountability at the Faculty of Medicine.
