Biography
Dr. Constance Ling obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1993. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dalhousie University and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1998. She completed a fellowship in Advanced Gynecological Surgery at the University of Ottawa in 1999 and was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa in 1999.
Dr. Ling has a practice based at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital. Her practice includes Obstetrics and Gynecology with a particular interest in advanced pelvic surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries and colposcopy. Her office is located at the Harmony Health Centre.
Dr Ling has been heavily involved in medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Ottawa for many years. Since July 2019, she has held the role of Program Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training program at the University of Ottawa. Her academic focus is in curriculum development and undergraduate and postgraduate education and training.
